We do not sell, share, or read your personal data.

We do not use cookies or user profiles.

We save the user preferences eg (prefered languages, theme...) localy using "LocalStorage".


We do however reserve the right to track usage with web analytics software such as Google Analytics or Amplitude using a cookies-free implementation and anonymous ID.

We use Amplitude so that we can track the usage of Hackertab. Items currently being tracked by Google Analytics:

  • Selected programming languages (eg. javascript)
  • Selected cards (eg. DevTo, Hackernews)
  • Selected theme
  • App Version
  • Page Views (source only: eg. Github, Stack Overflow, etc.)
  • Other similar events that can be found on the Github page of Hackertab

Account Creation and Deletion

Users can create and delete their accounts using GitHub and Google authentication. We do not store passwords, and authentication is handled securely via third-party OAuth providers.

Email Usage

We may use your email to contact you regarding rewards programs, such as referral-based invitations. Your email will not be shared with third parties.

Ads

Ads are served via Carbonads. Read more about what data Carbonads collects

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site.
